Peqoud's Pizza

I went to Pequod's with a group of friends on the recommendation of a coworker. He loves the place and says that it was the best Chicago pizza - I wouldn't go so far as that (I think they serve "pan" not "deep dish" pizza - but I'm not a native Chicagoan, so I don't entirely know the difference). What I will say about Pequod's is that the toppings are amazing. My friends were salivating over their sausage pizza, and the vegetables on my pizza were fresh and delicious.Pequod's is a bit dive-like, but I think that's what gives it character. If you aren't a fan of smoky restaurants, you'll probably want to avoid it. They show sports on the various televisions throughout the room, and serve a variety of beer, so it's a good place to watch the game with some friends.
