There are many things I miss no longer living in Chicago. The Skyline, going to see the Cubs/Sox, the music scene. However, the food one can find any time of the day is something that is bittersweet for me. Chicago Pizza is something I miss more than life itself sometimes, and while it is debatable where it starts (Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, Lou's) there is no doubt that Lou is one of the BIG THREE that one MUST stop at if you come to the Greatest City in the World.Chicago Pizza, or Deep Dish as it is more commonly known as is something that must be experienced in ones lifetime. It is stuffed full of toppings and cheese, with tomato's (not sauce, but chunked and whole) covering the pizza. Lou's is awsome. The Italian Sausage is homemade, and it is shown. An option they have is called buttercrust, which just as it sounds, is a layer of butter on the crust. It is making my mouth water just thinking of it. Lou's is a great option of you want to find great authentic Chicago Pizza without waiting over an hour at Gino's East
